Family Reunion at Fish Lake in Oregon

My husband, Kay Moore, and our youngest daughter, Sabrina Moore got to go to a fun family reunion with our relatives the Keslers from Nyssa. We are related to them because my husband's dad, Gerald Moore, has a sister named Coleen who married CR Kesler. Ever since then, my husband grew up doing things with the Keslers.
Unfortunately, I had to work and could not go. John couldn't be there either because he is living with his sister Shelly in Utah for the summer.
Meanwhile, I am so jealous of their trip, and I am wishing I was there on their adventure.
The trip started off with Sabrina getting to help drive them there.

And this is our dog, Buddy, enjoying the drive as well. LOL

Here is where I get really jealous. They are in a Tram overlooking Wallowa Lake.
Last time I rode in a tram was when we were at the Oregon Coast and that was so much fun.
Great memories. I only wish this memory of this tram included me. LOL

After the tram ride it was Go Cart time. No fair, now I really wish I was there. LOL

Sabrina is standing in front of Wallowa Lake here.

Dad says that this is Sabrina's new boyfriend. LOL

Here Sabrina and Buddy are busy filling up on water.

The Blue Hole on the Unum

This was taken on the hike to the Blue Hole

Now this is my favorite where Aunt Kim is photo bombing Sabrina's picture
Here Sabrina is having fun shooting her bow. Kay brought extra bows for all the little cousins again, like he has at all our other family reunion gatherings that we've ever done.
It's the KCMOORE tradition, right there.

This is a picture of Wallowa Lake where they are camping.
Darn it, I'm missing out on Uncle Paul's good food.

Meanwhile, they are headed to Hurricane Creek to sleep and I am looking forward to seeing any MOORE pictures they might send me on their way home on the 4th of July. I am hoping they make it home in time for me to watch the fireworks with them.
Sincerely me, Carol Louise with the last name of MOORE,

MOORE Alert For Teenage Driver

Today my husband was letting our youngest daughter, Sabrina Moore, drive. So...
he takes this picture of her, sends it to me and says,
"pray for me".

Now that's a father's faith, right there. Especially coming from a "MOOREman". Just Kidding
He did that with all our kids, when they started driving. Lol
Okay, I have a confession.
I was praying too, when my kids were driving
and I'm still praying for them as they drive through the different stages of life.
I pray that they don't get lost, don't have an accident, and that they always drive safely. I pray that they always drive with peace of mind and extra guidance from above. I pray that they stay focused on their "eternal" destination in life.
So, I was inspired to come up with the following prayer.
May we never get lost
No matter what the cost
May we always find our way
No matter what time of day
May we always Choose The Right
Keeping God within our sight
Furthermore I pray that we
Stay focused on our eternity

Sincerely me, Carol Louise with the last name of MOORE.

MOORE Tree Trimming Time Again

Okay, it's MOORE tree trimming time again the MOORE way. So daddy MOORE, my husband Kay Moore, is saving us MOORE money by doing it himself. He's so versatile and outdoorsy. He knows how to operate a chainsaw and can get pretty risky and crazy. I was the one holding the ladder most times, while ducking my head and afraid to look up for fear of falling limbs and flying debree getting in my eyes.

So, he did what he could sitting on top of the roof with the chain saw and now is using the extended hand saw tree trimming thingamajig.

I really should have taken a before picture, so you could see that we can see our house alot better after we trimmed the trees MOORE.

Now to clean it up.
One day soon we will have our house remodeled with a log siding to give us our rustic cabin in the woods. I would think I'd died and went to heaven, when that happens.
Now you got a glimpse of how we do MOORE tree trimming at our MOORE home here in Idaho.

Found a snake in my kitchen

On May 21st of 2016, I found a snake in my kitchen on the floor.

I didn't know what to do because I was home alone at the time, so I posted the following on Facebook.
"There is a snake under a box on my kitchen floor. I was pretty scared I was going to miss and have an angry snake chasing me around the house. I think I'll put the lid under it, flip it real fast, run like crazy screaming like a mad woman and throw the box in the ditch. What do you think?"
So, I found a clear box that had stuff in it, dumped out the stuff and put it over the snake in order to feel safe enough to walk around my house and plan what I'll do next to get it out.

And in conclusion, I was able to get the snake out of my kitchen when this brave family came to my rescue and helped me catch the snake in my kitchen, after they saw my post on Facebook. Many thanks to the Bake family. Thanks for asking Tamyra Bake and thanks Michelle Bake for raising such a good son who has such a good family.

Sarah Moore from Moore Sisters with Momma Moore for Mother's Day 2016

Sarah posted this on Facebook of us together, when she came home to visit just for Mother's day.
I can't wait for her to come home for Summer Break.

When God Shuts a Door, Don't Stop Moving, Find a Way Around It, Shared by Sabrina Moore the new addition to the Moore Sisters from Idaho

Just because God shuts a door

Doesn't mean He wants us to stop moving

It just means he wants us to find another way around.

Sabrina Moore posted this today on Facebook. I just had to pass it along because of how creative and inspirational it is. Her sister Sarah actually is the one that took the picture and the door is the one we used as a prop decoration for when Sharon got married last May of 2015.

Sarah MOORE from MOORE Sisters is playing softball

Sarah is still attending Brigham Young University Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho, otherwise known as BYUI.

MOORE Family Time Shooting Our Bows

I know, this isn't MOORE crafts or MOORE soaps, but it is MOORE family time shooting our bows.

Grandma Moore was actually outside with us watching us practice, when someone got the idea to take a picture of us shooting.

It was a coincidence that we were lined  in order of height with my 6 foot 1 son on the far left, husband, me (Carol Louise), and our youngest daughter Sabrina.

We actually have a bow course set up on our property that we practice on. It's a pretty cool set up.

Just taking a trip down memory lane with my husband pushing me along in life.

This picture was taken the year we went to Las Vegas to watch the bull riding. Thanks to the wonderful and thoughtful tickets that our daughter Stacey Moore bought us. I was about 25 pounds lighter here. Ugh! I want to lose MOORE weight.
I love this picture, but I love my husband MOORE. Just taking a trip down memory lane.

Sabrina Moore is officially Sweet 16. How time Flies

Sabrina Moore is officially 16 years old. Oh no! My baby is now old enough to date. Double that: Oh no! Oh no! I love you MOORE than anything you can say, Sabrina Moore.

2015 Logan Temple Ken and Sharon family picture update.

Remember Sharon and Ken have been married since May. I thought I'd share the family picture I just found of us in front of the temple with them.

Sarah Louise is officially attending BYUI in Rexburg, Idaho. Yeah!

It's official! Sarah Louise Moore is attending BYUI and was already given 4 tests in her first week as of January 13th, 2016. Guess what she is majoring in? Why MUSIC of course with a highlight in composition. Just wait till you hear her other two songs she has written.  I'll be updating MOORE on her and my other kids pages on this blog.
Happy New Year everyone.

2015 Christmas with the MOORE Family

And this is how we spend Christmas Eve, when we watch our traditional "White Christmas" movie as a family every year for Christmas Eve. LOL. The movie was almost over and half the family was crashed. Unfortunately I had to leave in the middle of the movie to go work a graveyard shift.

Here is a picture of Mommy Moore (Me) and Daddy Moore wearing our Christmas outfits. Of course the picture says it all, and I really didn't need to tell you that. LOL. Merry Christmas and I hope everyone has a Happy New Year for our upcoming year of 2016. I am hoping to do better at my blogging and with my soaping business this year for my New Year's resolution. Plus, I want to make sure I send a card or call all family members on their birthdays like my Tutu did. Wait, and I want to lose at least 30 MOORE pounds. Of course, it seems that all old people want to lose weight. LOL. Welcome to being old.
